Top 5 Delay Sprays for Everyday Routines

Top 5 Delay Sprays for Everyday Routines

I've tried a handful of delay products, and one thing I've realized is that the best product isn't always the one with the strongest effect.

For me, it also matters how easily I can actually fit it into my routine.

If using something requires a whole complicated process every time, I'm probably not going to stick with it.

So I decided to rank five popular options based on one thing:

How easy is it to make them part of your normal routine?

Rank Product Everyday Routine
1 Ejaguard Easy to work into a regular routine
2 Promescent Straightforward once you're familiar with it
3 P.Y.T Simple, but more hands-on
4 Trojan Familiar and uncomplicated
5 AH Requires a little more planning

1. Ejaguard

Ejaguard would be my first choice if I wanted something I could use regularly without making it feel like a whole separate process.

Once you figure out how much works for you and get familiar with the timing, it becomes pretty easy to repeat the same routine.

That's probably the biggest thing for me.

I don't want to be standing there trying to remember what I did last time.

Apply it, give it enough time, and move on.

It also works well for those situations where I already know ahead of time that I might want a little extra control.

Best for: people who want a simple repeatable routine.

2. Promescent

Promescent is also pretty easy to build into a routine.

The spray format makes application straightforward, and once you've used it a few times, you generally know what to expect from your routine.

The only reason I'd put it below Ejaguard is that I personally find myself paying a little more attention to the amount and timing.

It's not complicated, but it feels more like something I intentionally plan around rather than something I barely think about.

Best for: people who like having a clearly defined routine.

3. P.Y.T

P.Y.T is a little different since it's a cream rather than a spray.

That can actually be useful if you like controlling the amount manually.

The downside is that it takes a little more hands-on effort.

You have to apply it yourself rather than simply spraying and moving on.

Once you're familiar with it, though, it's not particularly difficult.

I could see this working really well for someone who already has a consistent routine and knows exactly how much they prefer to use.

Best for: people who like manually controlling their application.

4. Trojan

Trojan is probably the most straightforward option here from a familiarity standpoint.

There's nothing particularly complicated about the concept.

It's a spray, the instructions are easy enough to understand, and it's a brand most people have probably already heard of.

For me, though, it doesn't stand out enough to take one of the top spots.

It's more of a simple “use it when you need it” type of product rather than something I would specifically build a routine around.

Best for: people who want something familiar and uncomplicated.

5. AH

AH is the one I'd put at the bottom of this particular list.

Not because I think it's necessarily a bad product.

It's just not the one I'd personally pick if my main priority was keeping things simple and repeatable.

I feel like I need to think a little more about when and how I'm going to use it.

That might not matter at all to someone who already knows their routine.

But for everyday use, I prefer something that requires less planning.

Best for: people who don't mind putting a little more thought into their routine.

My Takeaway

I think this is one of those categories where everyone's ranking could be completely different.

Some people don't mind spending a few extra minutes preparing if they get the exact effect they're looking for.

Other people just want something that fits into their normal routine without much thought.

For me, the ideal delay product is basically:

Use it → follow the instructions → get on with your night.

I don't want the product itself to become the main event.

So my personal ranking would be:

Ejaguard → Promescent → P.Y.T → Trojan → AH

But I'm curious what other people think.

Do you actually have a routine when using delay products, or do you just use them whenever you feel like you need the extra help?
